Logical Progression
We believe in and love all things technological. However the best of all is programming, some say maths or engineering but these don't really cover as many logical, elegant and interactive elements. Mainly only programming can cover any other type of technology completely. Where we believe the main magic is in GUI (Graphical User Interface) design. The first GUI design was done many years ago in a company called Xerox, the technology was copied by Microsoft and Apple to be used in their first operating systems. Some say that Text based interfaces have a beauty of thier own, mainly with the first dialup BBS's using Ansi graphics.
The first network was an important milestone, suddenly you could connect with other people without leaving your computer! The first dialup modems meant you could connect with others ina place far away. Then came the internet, at first it was just telnet, email, newsgroups, etc. The greatest achievement of all was a little program called mosaic. Suddenly you could connect to other computers inside of a full graphics based interface, you could see images and different text colors and fonts.
Websites seem to be drawn in a graphics program like photoshop but they are actually mainly graphic outputs decribed by a programming languae called HTML / CSS.
